Note:
The difference between the "deluxe series" and the "standard series" Radar mount is the
Radome mounting plate material.
The "standard series" uses an extremely sturdy polymer plate, to make it as
affordable
as possible.
The "deluxe series" uses a more expensive aluminum plate. All other parts are identical.
Yacht Specialtie's Radar mount is modular in design
and allows configuration to your
exact requirements, eliminating
the need for
expensive custom
design and fabrication.
The mount is available
in heights of 4, 8, 16 and 24 inches.
In its basic configuration the mount includes everything needed to mount
the Radar Radome.
With optional antenna/light arms and light brackets (see parts/price list), our mounts allow mounting
a variety of
lights and antennas such as
GPS, VHF, FM and TV etc.(in addition to the Radome)
Up to 2 antenna/light arms can be mounted.
Antenna/light arms are available in 2 lengths, for
Radomes up to 20"and 28" diameter.
Provisions
are made to route all cables through the tube of the mount and then
either straight down or
out of any side of
the base.
The Radar mount consists of a stainless
steel assembly, with a 7 inch square bottom flange, the tube,
and a top flange onto which the
Radome mounting plate of your
choice and the optional antenna/light arms
and light brackets are mounted.
A polymer spacer that can be modified by the installer to match the curvature
and angle of the mounting
surface on your boat is included.
A wedge shaped base-spacer (4 deg) is available if needed.
-
The quality of workmanship and material is without compromise
-
No powder
coated castings are used
The Radar Mount base, tube and top flange are made of type 316L stainless steel.
The Radome
mounting plates are machined from a high density, ultra violet inhibited polymer.
They are 3/4" thick, extremely rugged and immune to corrosion.
The antenna/light arms are machined, not cast from
a marine grade aluminum alloy.
We do not believe that powder-coating is suitable for a marine environment.
All aluminum parts are anodized, primed with
epoxy primer and finally coated with a highly
UV
resistant
Polyurethane (white).
All metal finishing is done to military specifications.
For aesthetic
reasons, we do not make universal Radome mounting plates
with unsightly slots and unused holes.
The Radome mounting
plate is machined to fit your brand of Radar or Satellite antenna.
